Education is not just a service we provide; it is a commitment to empower young minds and bridge the socio-economic divide that hinders access to quality learning. With over 4,90,914 children impacted by March 2024, CHF has been a beacon of hope for countless underprivileged children across India. We champion the cause of free, inclusive, and high-quality education that nurtures informed, compassionate, and capable global citizens.
Despite India’s significant strides in education, including an enrollment ratio exceeding 96% in primary education over the last eight years, challenges persist. Reports such as the National Achievement Survey and findings from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation indicate alarmingly low learning outcomes, particularly in reading comprehension and arithmetic skills among third-grade students. These gaps in foundational skills highlight the urgent need for interventions that go beyond enrollment figures and focus on holistic, outcome-driven learning.
Our preschool programs ensure that children grow up healthy and ready for formal education. In Jawhar district, Maharashtra, 8,336 children have directly benefitted through our initiatives, which include nutrition and health support for holistic development.
